Social Media Marketing
A local aquarium store approached me to take charge of their social media strategy, recognizing the need for a stronger digital presence. My primary objectives were to elevate brand awareness by increasing followers and engagement across all platforms, foster a sense of community between the store and its customers, and establish a compelling and consistent online presence. Through strategic content creation, audience interaction, and targeted growth initiatives, I worked to position the store as a go-to resource for aquatic enthusiasts while driving customer engagement and loyalty.
The "Sunday Kickoff" posts were designed to generate excitement and anticipation for the week’s offerings, giving customers a preview of what was available in-store. These posts were strategically divided into “Freshwater” and “Saltwater” categories, highlighting exclusive deals, featured livestock, and premium brands. While the content was refreshed weekly to maintain relevance, the consistent template reinforced brand recognition and engagement. This approach not only drove significant online interaction but also translated into increased foot traffic/sales, strengthening the connection between the store and its customer base.
Thursday Showcase
Every Thursday, I conducted a dedicated photoshoot featuring the top five freshwater and saltwater livestock selections chosen by ownership and management for that week's arrivals. These high-quality images highlighted the most sought-after and unique species available, ensuring customers had an up-to-date view of that week’s new stock.
The introduction of the "Thursday Showcase" proved to be a highly successful strategy, generating anticipation and engagement among customers. By consistently delivering visually appealing and informative posts, customers began looking forward to the weekly updates, enhancing both online interaction and in-store conversations. As the showcase gained traction, social media engagement increased significantly, driving more inquiries, visits, and overall interest in the store’s offerings.

Managing a structured posting schedule six days a week, I created and shared a diverse range of content, including professionally edited informational videos, livestock photography, product highlights, and scheduled showcase posts. This approach ensured consistent engagement while effectively promoting products and services.
